Happy Friday! I seem to have made it through the week without completely losing my sanity and my kiddos haven’t come to me every two seconds saying they’re bored so I must be doing something right!! I have a feeling it’s going to be a long summer though. We’re trying to potty train little man and it’s been…. interesting to say the least. Both of my kiddos are very strong willed and I just keep telling myself it will help them later on in life!!
Anyways, I’m really here to tell you all about where we stayed when we visited Waco!! I was so excited when we decided to add our little Waco adventure on to the end of our trip to Dallas for the Heaven Come conference. I started looking at Airbnb’s right away and noticed that there are several homes that were featured on Fixer Upper available to rent! And the German Schmear house was one of them! If you’re a fan of the show you know exactly what house I am talking about! I could hardly contain my giddy little girl excitement when we booked the house for our stay!

Isn’t it pretty? We realized shortly after we got there that this was the house that was done for Max Lucado’s daughter. We even found a couple of books with notes from her dad in the cover. How fun is that? The house itself is actually smaller than we all thought it was, tv magic is really real. Overall it was gorgeous, well done, and just really fun to stay in. We even watched the episode of Fixer Upper the house is from while we were there!
